like to say it’s a wonderful initiative. I am a mechanical
engineer, sometimes I use to get doubt about my basic maths and
not able to get answer but based on this website I can clarify
very easily because I can see both language in my mother tongue

specially those who are working out side of Tamil Nadu to see

visiting this site and go thorough the each and every
subjects in all standards. I can study the materials in
Tamil, Tamil Ilakkanam, English grammar, Mathematics,
Science and train my children who are in Chennai through net
(chatting) on Saturday/Sunday. Even
those who are not having First language as Tamil in Nigeria,
are giving training to their children to develop Tamil

really appreciate the work done by Tamil Nadu
government school education department for taking this
initiative. It would be really helpful for students
who cannot get the books in market due to
unavailability. Moreover, now the government has
initiated to help the students, now as a citizen, we
need to think, how to take this forward for other
students who cannot afford to buy books for their
education. Request all to take printout and share with
them. I have decided, I will distribute one set to one
student per year. Let's put our hands together and do
something for our society.

I would like to really appreciate the efforts of
School Education Dept and Tamil Nadu text book
corporation of Govt. of Tamil Nadu to display the
books online. I passed out 12th in 2006, when the
new syllabus was introduced. I am studying abroad
now and really wanted my 11 and 12 th text books, as
they are pure basics of Engineering and Science. As
I found the books online, I was very happy. The
course material is very good. I did not realize it
when I was studying in school, but after seeing the
real world, everything I studied in school applies.
